best automatic litter box

i am DROWNING in cat litter and its only been 2 months since i got my cats!!!

I thought having two kittens in my apartment would be cute and manageable but the litter box situation is actually insane 💀 i scoop TWICE a day and it still smells and theres litter EVERYWHERE... its tracked all over my apartment and i find it in my bed sometimes??? my roommate is starting to give me looks and i dont blame her. i started researching the best automatic litter box options and holy crap theyre expensive!!! $500-700 for a robot toilet for cats?? but at this point im desperate enough to use my whole tax refund on one if it actually works. i keep seeing ads for the robot looking ones that spin around and the cats look so confused in the videos lmao... but also some reviews say cats get scared and wont use them?? imagine spending $600 and then your cat just poops on the floor instead 😭

theres also these rake ones that look cheaper but people say they get jammed with clumps?? and some that wash themselves but you need special granules that cost more than regular litter??? why is this so complicated i just want a clean apartment.. my cats are super picky too like they wont even use the box if its not PERFECTLY clean so idk if theyd even use an automatic one... but i literally cannot keep up with the current situation its affecting my life bc im always cleaning. does anyone have the best automatic litter box that actually works?? preferably one that wont terrify my already dramatic cats?? help a girl out
