Stuff from my mother's house what to do.
about 6 months ago I separated from my husband and moved in with my mother and my son and daughter and brother and his daughter as well as my Alzheimer's father. my mother has always been manipulative and is either a narcissist or emotionally immature or both. since I am now over 50 and she is 85, I thought she probably grew up or at least had some self-control especially with my father having Alzheimer's. I was wrong, she is just terrible, and my entire childhood flooded back to me the first day I was there. I lasted about 3 weeks there and moved back in with my husband who is also but I'm kind of appreciative of his terrible not being as terrible as my mother. LOL. my son just texted me and there is some handicap equipment I left at her house because I didn't have room to put it in a car and bring it back over to where I am right now. my husband actually is refusing to drive to Washington State. even though it's not a very long drive, we just don't want to deal with my mother. I actually have probably $300 worth of bars poles a Hoyer lift and other handicap stuff. she thinks that it's taking up too much room in her garage and she won't shut up about it. does anybody know if I can call someone to pick it up? I don't really want to go over there and deal with her. it's really not taking up that much room it's probably more of a manipulation thing to get me over there so I can feel guilty about being alive or whatever. you know how these mothers are. plus, she knows I don't drive and she refuses to make an effort to actually come to my house so I'm willing to just let this stuff go. anybody have any ideas who will come get it? she won't deal with anybody from Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist coming to her house to pick it up. I just wanted someone to come get it all and be done for free without even having to deal with her, just have my brother put it on the front lawn. it's taking up a 4 ft by 4 ft corner in her garage, so I'm being selfish and apparently she's just going to die with it taking up so much space.
