Native wildflower seed spreading
I just purchased a 1/4 pound bag of wild flower seed in preparation for better weather. I was inspired by some reels that were shared with me regarding a guy using a shaker and just tossing seeds where ever. I'm wondering how much of an area this should cover and what kind of locations I should attempt to plant so that plants actually have a chance.
There is a nature reserve near me for birds with efforts to restore the natural habit due to water erosion, but I'm not comfortable planting too close to that because I dont want to disrupt professional efforts. Other than that, I just want to avoid places that will be mowed regularly.
