Mid day breaks?

Hi, we're planning a trip for some time during 2026, we have 3 kids who will be roughly 9,7 and 4 during the trip. Does anyone here ever go back to their hotel during the day to have a rest for the kids? Then returning to the parks later on? How does it work out?

We're looking at staying at the Explorers hotel and purchasing a 4 day park ticket for reference.
