Need help for jee drop year

I have decided to take a drop year for my jee but I have this confusion that if I should study from a mains+advance batch like of physics wallah because I solely want to target the jee mains exam because as this year would be my first time studying for jee seriously. So guys please help on what teaching material to follow If I only want to do extremely well in mains.

Am I wasting my time in a Mains+Advance batch if I only want to target Mains?

one thing more- one of my friend told me that in so called Jee Mains+Advance batches of physics wallah there isn't much difference between the level of teaching and lectures required for mains and advance
