34M - Scottish book lover looking for new friends

As the title says I'm hoping to meet some new people and maybe even become longer term friends. I'm also ok with short term but I'm not really into low effort messaging.

I am a working professional in an engineering field which takes up a lot of my time usually but today I've got a quieter day ahead. I love to read and genuinely like to hear about others interests in books of all genres and will always welcome good recommendations. I'm also pretty active and enjoy getting outside and playing some sports. As much as I like being outside I do enjoy a quiet evening watching shows and movies or a good book.

I'd say I'm an easy going person who just enjoys getting to know new people and creating connections. I'm very accepting of others so anyone is welcome to message. Seeing people I care for happy is my favourite thing and I'd do a lot to make people around me feel cared for. I think I bond best with people who are good communicators and are emotionally mature.

Physically I'm a taller guy, average build and get told I'm handsome from time to time but everyone has their own preferences plus I don't mind what you look like at all.
