Longtime fantasy players: was 2B always this shallow? Why has it been so bad for at least 5 years?
I’ve been playing fantasy baseball for about 5-6 years and 2B always seems to be so limited and yet still hasn’t turned over.
Even the C position, which used to be a wasteland, has turned over better than 2B with emerging guys like Baldwin, A. Ramirez, Langeliers, Goodman, O’Hoppe, Herrera (league dependent), Raleigh, etc.
Just a bunch of players seem to be coming up at every position except the keystone. Is there a reason for this or is this just specific to what teams are looking for where you’d take a less “fantasy relevant” player in exchange for a better “real life” player?
