DJI refers to Xtra as their 'Strategic New Identity' in leaked announcement

Using a Throwaway for this one. I recently got a copy of an internal DJI announcement. Looks like they may be releasing this soon?

"To photographers, videographers, and creators worldwide: Effective immediately, we would like to officially confirm that Xtra​ will be operating as DJI's official strategic new identity​ in specific overseas markets. Xtra is not an independent brand, but a necessary measure we are taking to continue serving our users amidst varying tariff and regulatory environments. Xtra products carry the exact same technological core and engineering philosophy as DJI.​ We call this our 'Mirror Strategy'. When you choose Xtra, you are still choosing the quality of DJI."

Reading this after getting to see that office door at DJI's headquarters in Shenzhen makes a lot of sense. For those who haven’t seen it, I’ll post the photo in the comments. The nameplate on the door clearly reads "Xtra Strategic Project Office”.

All of this obviously points to just one thing: This is purely an April Fools' Day joke.
