Switching to frontier from spectrum. Considering Verizon from mint now, too? Info/advice/tips/best deals? Ty

Wireless

Any feedback appreciated Ty!

Frontier rep came to my door yesterday (5th time in few years) and finally gonna do it cause spectrum sucks and now they’re offering wo contract. $50/mo (w autopay but I always do) 3 months free, gig speed, $100 visa gift card… now searching here and frontier for better/best specials… and Verizon advice.

I asked about Verizon deals cause my Mint who I’m happy with but was considering doing Apple Card no interest payments for new iPhone but I’d have to sign up w carrier, was thinking of Tmobile cause I have not bad memories of them from past…mint is up this month and I want to upgrade to new iPhone 17 pm since my 12 can’t handle newest ai tech. I usually buy unlocked in full from Apple but can’t afford now. Guy said new 17 iphone $5/mo (36 mo though and give back phone if leave Verizon) and $40 for plan and bundled lowers gig speed fiber home internet to $35. I didn’t ask about other perks or if that’s unlimited or what the plan has… sounds like there’s better offers. Or better strategies. Esp for a new customer. Tips? Ty

Since spectrum is up to $75 and $35 is $40 savings, that’s essentially free mobile for same cost. Though mint costs half. So what are other things I can negotiate? The rep was a young guy who seemed nice and I have his direct phone number. Also said 1st 3 months free for fiber and a $100 visa gift card. Though I think I’ve seen twice that offered mentioned… I want unlimited of course. Also I currently pay for Netflix no ads reg price, Disney Hulu 14$ no ads, hbo max 3$ w ads…

what’s up with the perks and plans? And are they being sneaky! I’ve experienced and heard a lot of horror stories. I hate being under contract. And strategies to start? Should I start with another provider and switch?

Thanks
