What is the real explanation for why Ponie wanted to get rid of Tori?

To me, Ponie’s version, that she was at Hollywood Arts first, sounds much more logical. Because otherwise, she wouldn’t have tried to take Tori and Trina somewhere in a car at the end of the scene.
