Can you go fully offline in Death Stranding 2 like first one?

Is it possible to turn off the connection/online stuff in Death Stranding 2?

In the first game, you could go offline and avoid all the structures other players left behind – and honestly, I really want that again. I can’t deal with zip-lines and bridges everywhere that make you just glide through the game with zero challenge.

The whole point is supposed to be struggling to get through the world on your own, not having someone else build everything for you. Feels like playing on easy mode even though you didn’t choose it.

Please tell me you can go completely solo without the world being “fixed” by other players 🙃
