MMO Recommendations?

My friend and I played WoW for about 10 years together from first release through WoLK. We are looking for something along the lines that has:

RPG mechanics, classes, ability point allocation, skill tree, etc.

Open World

Decent player base

Still receiving regular content

PvE based and PVP optional

Equipment/looting

Quests, Dungeons, Raids, etc.
