Construction on Jackson st - Third Ward?

Hi! First time posting here! The entire east side of N Jackson street has been blocked off for weeks now and I can’t find anything detailing why… I live right around there and am dreading a summer of construction while I try to enjoy my balcony… does anyone know what’s going on?
