Protagonists who are empathetic, sweethearts and caring are the better than those who are usually badass

Sure they can be badass when they need to but their core are them being sensitive. Protagonists like these are the best. Look at Yujii Itadori in Jujutsu Kaisen, Tanjiro in Demon Slayer, Naruto in Naruto, Atsushi in Bungou Stray Dogs. Their behaviors are so human. They believe in kindness. They stick to their morals and ideals and this is so much better than protagonists who are always acting badass.
