Earth Medicine - birth totem

I was given a couple books by my aunt, I’ve started with reading Earth medicine by Kenneth Meadows. I’ve had to re read many pages, I’ve finally gotten past part one, The Philosophy.

For those who may be familiar with the book, my question is on part two, which goes on about each of the 12 birth totems of earth medicine and the 12 personality expressions through which life is perceived with. “…the possible life path of your real self, the inner ‘hidden’ you to help you come to a realization that your life does indeed have purpose”.

Now after finding my totem (Brown bear. Mouse. Turtle. Violet. Topaz. Wolf) i am interested in taking it a step further and creating it. I enjoy making art and want to create a something.

Anyone else read this book? Any insight on creating a totem?
