Please Help, my daughters 2008 VW Toureg has developed an electrical issue causing the signals, blower, and wipers, steering wheel controls not to work. Any Ideas??

My daughter has a 2008 VW Toureg v6 with 100k miles. She had a water ingress quite some time ago and the dealer repaired the splices on driver side floor. Well the clog came back, I was able to get the drains cleared but not before water had came in the driver side. It was not puddled but the foam did suck up most of it. Pulled carpet and let dry throughly. checked all fuses and they were good. I got frustrated with it and it sat a few days. I had to jump it to start which seemed strange as the battery is less than a year old, unless something was pulling power i was unaware of. Boom everything worked, signals, blower for ac and heat was working, and the wipers worked once the hood was shut. I thought okay its done and let it run for a bit to get the battery charged. I came back to it about 30 minutes later to it running fine but back to the same issues. Since everything was all working would that mean the fuses and relays should be good? The hazards work properly with all four corners blinking. Any advice on what i should do next?
