Need good cooking app to cook at home
Hey guys, I’ve been trying to get better at cooking at home instead of eating out so much, and I find a lot of recipes on Instagram Reels and YouTube. These recipes are mouth watering but its very difficult to follow them or even understand them. I try to save food videos on YouTube to watch later on my iPad to cook new dishes, but trying to follow along with a fast-paced edited videos or digging through the comments for the recipe is super frustrating.
Plus, my family is multilingual, and a lot of the best authentic recipes I find are in languages we don't speak, or don't have subtitles/captions.
I recently, somehow, saw an Instagram Reel in my feed that promoted this app called CookTranslate. It promises to extract the ingredients and cooking steps directly from Instagram or YouTube links and save them within the app, which it then translates also.
It looks like its quiet new. I was wondering if you guys know anything about it regarding how good is it or if there are any other methods you follow to cook at home? This all just feels a little too good to be true, especially because there is barely any information or reviews about it online since it's so new.
Has anyone here tried it out? Is it safe to use and actually accurate with the translations? Thanks!
