Official 2026 World Cup Groups Finalized: Full 48-Team Field (Updated April 1)

The intercontinental playoffs are officially over and the placeholders are gone. As of this morning, the full 48-team field for 2026 is locked.

I’ve updated my draw guide to reflect the final confirmed nations, including Curaçao’s historic debut and the return of Scotland, Iraq, and Uzbekistan.

Inside the updated guide:

• Official Groups A-L: The finalized 4-team groups for the new 48-team format.
• Key Matchups: Opening Day in Mexico City and the USMNT opener in LA.
• Printable Portrait Brackets: I made a high-res 1-page PDF of the finalized groups specifically for printing/mobile reference.
