I'm thinking about getting into Day Trading. It looks enticing, and I'm tired of 9-5ing. Shit's not for me, and I'm ready to start doing something about it. What do I need to know or do to get started?

And PLEASE, explain it to me as if you were talking to a child. No complexities, no information bloating, no excessive acronyms without context. I can plug details later.

Keep it as simple as humanly possible. What is needed to be known at this very moment, what tools I will need should I pursue this, and realistic expectations.
