Equestrians and Tattoos

Any equestrians here who can share advice on how they managed horses and fresh tattoos?

I got my first tattoo a few months ago and was very vigilant on no exercise and only loose clothing. The tattoo is on my thigh so I basically didn't ride for three weeks and stable clothing in winter was a hassle.

I'm thinking of adding to my tattoo and managing the horses and their exercise is my biggest issue with planning that. My current tattoo is about 20*10 cm and my goal is to have it stretch all the way up along my side up to my boobs. I don't want to get that done all at once, maybe one in 2026 and then more every 1-2 years.

I think the biggest issues will be the next part (up my hip) and then the last part (along my upper ribs under the bra) because I can't work around that with loose clothing. I'm thinking that summer might be best because I could at least lunge in a dress or something like that
