1. There has been an increase in cheating male characters in Turkish series recently and it's getting annoying.

Either the male lead is cheating on his partner or he gets married to the female lead while continuing a relationship on the side. An in each scenario it's a woman who gets hurt because the male lead gets away with it while one of the women is villainised to justify this.

Just write a drama about two single characters who do not have any past connections.

2. Turkish series audience, who are majority women, hate on female characters more than trash male characters. It doesn't matter how trash and abusive they are, fans will make excuses for them, but empathy or understanding towards some female characters is non existent.

I remember seeing people be mad at Seyran for not being comfortable at first being intimate with Ferit after everything this man put her through. Same with Sahipsizler, did the audience forget that Azize was forced into the marriage at first and didn't Devran try to force himself on her at some point?

3. That brings me to the third point, there are so many couples in Turkish TV series that should not end up together because it's just such a toxic and abusive relationship. Especially all those daily dramas.

4. Turkish series writers inability to write a good second season is unbelievable. You don't need to do all that and add unnecessary characters.

5. I wish writers wouldn't allow social media to dictate everything, especially if certain characters or ships become popular. Focus on the main storyline and the main characters/leads.

6. I don't think Hande Ercel is that bad of an actress. Do I think she is great? No. But not as bad as people always make it. I think she has definitely improved over the past 10 years and I have seen her play different characters.

7. The bullying towards the real-life partners of these actors and actresses is sooooo annoying. I have noticed this so much but the inability to separate fiction from reality is concerning. I have been seeing this with the main leads in Uzak Sehir where fans talk bad about Ozan's wife and Sinem's boyfriend. Last year I saw someone accuse his wife of trying to copy Sinem's style just because she was wearing a sleeveless top with jeans. I saw people be mad because Sinem brought her boyfriend to the party they had when the season 1 final was aired.

I've been seeing it with some OREL fans who get upset at Burak for publicly showing affection and support to his fiancé in her comment section or liking OREL edits that used Tuana's songs.

I have literally seen people be mad at Ozan for sharing a kiss with his wife at his birthday party or posting about his wife on International Women's Day.

These "fans" start saying that the love these actors show their partners is not sincere if it's so publicly, but I bet if these same actors where to show this public support towards their costars then these same fans would say "OMG, look how cute".
