Anyone else here struggle with generational clashes in AA?

Hey, 33 year old here. In and out of the rooms for half my life just about. 119 days today. I just wanted to see if there were any younger people out there who constantly have belief clashes with older generations......one big thing being the weed thing. Yes, if you smoke weed you arent technically sober, but if you are working a solid program and are abstaining from using alcohol and/or your drug of choice, whats the big fuckin deal man? I am a firm believer that as the older generations die off, weed is going to be something widely accepted in the rooms of AA. Until then...... I suppose I have to hear the bitching and moaning.... Another big thing for me is the religion thing. I am a firm believer that one does not have to believe in an imaginary ghost in the sky in order to achieve a life of success and sobriety..... The older generations seem to have tunnel vision with these two things. As stated before- I think its just something ill have to deal with until their time comes.
