Challan not updated in 26as

i paid self assesment tax of about 45k showed by system on 31st and challan was generated.

still I got a message on 15th September that I have to pay about 47k.my 26as was not showing any payment but ais had that info.

now my itr acknowledgement shows a demand and the response to the demand is not yet closed.

the itr has to be submitted for a visa processing.any way this can be handled fast ?
