Just how dangerous is highway 76?

It appears it’s very difficult to find resources about North county in general. However, I find signs saying make safe turns a lot. I am assuming this means highway 76 has a lot of crashes.

Though what makes this stretch dangerous

I seen several major crashes at the four lane section or “freeway with lights” section resulting in a massive emergency response and almost got in a head on with someone trying to overtake just east of the Pala Casino.

I be curious whether this stretch is truely super dangerous
