Thinking about trying HRT for a month, but worried about puffy nipples due to pre-existing gynecomastia. Advice?
Hi everyone,
I’m currently thinking about trying estrogen HRT for a month just to see how I feel on it and see if it's right for me.
However, I already have pre-existing gynecomastia (gyno), so there is already some hard tissue (breast buds) under my nipples. My main concern is whether starting HRT will cause the tissue around my nipples to start growing rapidly right away.
If I decide after a month that I don't want to continue HRT and stop taking it, is there a high risk that the tissue will have grown significantly? I'm worried about being left with permanently puffy nipples or noticeable, awkward-looking lumps sticking out. Has anyone been in a similar situation or have any insights on how fast breast tissue grows if you already have gyno? Thanks in advance!
