Solo All Bosses, No Hit, No HUD

Hype

Hey everyone!

Since it looks like there won’t be any more updates, I decided to do a full no-hit run on all bosses, just like I did in previous Souls games. I’ve put over 1000 hours into the game, and this time I wanted to make it feel a bit special — especially because the bosses here are so atmospheric and cinematic.

So I turned off the UI and avoided offensive buffs to give the bosses more time to actually show their moves. I only used relics (mostly 2 Balancers + 1 ED Fulgor).

Here is the video:

I mainly play Duchess and have cleared DoN 5 multiple times (solo and co-op), but this challenge felt very different. Some bosses have mechanics that feel a bit unfair for no-hit runs. Here are my thoughts:

Gladius
Not much to say about the normal version — it’s a very easy fight. He has few attacks, they’re easy to dodge, and his HP is quite low.

ED Gladius
At launch, this boss was quite difficult, especially with random teammates. But over time I got used to him and now genuinely enjoy the fight. The third phase can be a bit random, but nothing too frustrating.

Adel & ED Adel
Probably my least favorite boss. He constantly runs away, and most of his attacks go through you and leave him behind you. You either chase him (which is especially annoying in co-op) or just wait for him to come to you. Otherwise, he’s very easy.

Sentient Pest
I expected the normal version to be harder, but even without buffs it’s quite easy to get through phase one. Phase two doesn’t really cause problems.

ED Sentient Pest
This was the worst boss for this challenge. Phase 2 has a huge HP pool, and the butterfly constantly zones you with attacks from the scorpion.
After a lot of attempts, I found a semi-consistent strategy: kill the butterfly first, then quickly kill the scorpion while invisible. This delays Animus possession and gives you a big damage window. After possession, you only deal with one enemy, which is much easier.

Augur
Nothing special about the normal version. I used to find this fight boring, but I’ve gotten used to it. There’s a lot of chasing if you play melee (which I usually don’t, except here).

ED Augur
Balancers make this fight much easier. Once you learn to deal with lasers and bubbles, it’s pretty manageable. Random tsunamis can still ruin attempts. Overall it's fairly calm and visually appealing fight.

Libra
One of the best bosses in the game. At launch, this fight was extremely difficult, especially with randoms. Even when everything was going well, one move could instantly turn it into chaos and disaster.

ED Libra
Surprisingly, I also really like this version, especially in co-op. It’s very demanding in terms of patience and positioning.

But for a no-hit run, this was one of the worst bosses (second only to Gnoster). The issue is his 50% HP curse, that cuts your health in half. I had to delay his phase transition as much as possible using stance breaks and Madness procs, but it wasn’t consistent. Sometimes he transitions immediately, sometimes not.

I’m not fully happy with my result here — it feels more like a rushed fight. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a better solution as Duchess (invisibility doesn’t stop the transition).

Fulgor
I don’t like the normal version without lightning damage. In my case, I didn’t have it, because interrupting his special ability costs HP — and he spams it a lot. So the fight becomes constant running and waiting.

ED Fulgor
Much better. Phase 2 can be fun, but overall the fight is still quite simple. His moveset is very straightforward.

Caligo
One of the most beautiful bosses — I love this fight. But for this challenge, she was tough. Her frost torrents in phase two can spawn anywhere, and since positioning is crucial, it’s easy to get hit.

Fighting her solo reminded me of the best dragon in Souls — Midir. If you fight her face-to-face instead of staying under her, it becomes a very fun and cinematic fight.

ED Caligo
My favorite boss fight in the game. I recorded over 10 no-hit attempts just to pick the one I liked most. Yes, her full-arena blizzard can ruin even a perfect run due to its weird timing, but the positioning, music, and visuals outweigh that downside for me.

==

Balancers
I like the normal version. I tried two approaches — parrying and dagger — and ended up choosing the dagger. Not much to say: they don’t have many attacks, but the fight is still enjoyable. Sometimes they can catch you off guard, but it’s nowhere near Gnoster levels.

ED Balancers
I hate the worm phase — and I think everyone agrees on that. Visually, the fight is very beautiful and atmospheric… the first few times. After that, you’re just praying to get as few worm phases as possible since they waste a lot of time.

Dreglord
Great boss fight. Fun moveset and excellent music. The only downside is the first phase with adds and rain. I wish the fight was a bit harder overall, but I understand the game’s format.

Heolstor
After Caligo and Libra, this is one of the best bosses. Fair and engaging moveset, amazing visuals and music. The only downside is the geysers, which ruined a few great attempts.

Thank you for your time!
