minoring in communications or mass communications

advice?? currently a political science major need to minor in something because i don't want to graduate early. thinking mass com, com, or journalism. after i graduate, i want to work in a role where i can directly engage with communities and make an impact, whether through policy, advocacy, public service, or nonprofit work. i’m especially interested in positions where i can use my leadership, public speaking, and organizational skills, along with my experience in media and data, to support programs, campaigns, or initiatives that create real change. i’d also like to gain experience that could also prepare me for law school in the future.
