Replacement strap for HRM Dual

My HRM Dual strap has somehow twisted itself into a right mess.

It doesn't look like Garmin sell a replacement band any more, but they have a band that will work for about £30.

There are a load of generic bands online that say they are compatible with the HRM Dual, and even Polar sell a band that seems it will do the trick.

Is it worth getting a Garmin official band? Has anyone tried anything else with the HRM dual? The actual clip on unit itself is fine.
