A TRUE success story

You can read this thread I opened a few months ago.

I'm currently taking 100mg / benfo for 2-3 days in a row, then pause for a similar amount of time. Sometimes I'll take benfo for 5 days, then stop.

Absolute gamechanger in an individual like me who has been dealing with social and, increasingly, generalized anxiety for years. The latter has been a real monster, because there's no resting from it. It's as if it had developed from the former, although at some point it started feeling like the former was really an offspring of the generalized one. Right after opening my eyes in the morning I would feel the baseline anxiety I'd keep for the rest of the day. Nightmarish. Yet I'd live through it.

Before discovering this supplement, I literally could go for months with a baseline anxiety level of 5-6 in a 0-10 scale (MY personal scale). On bad days that number would go up to 7, 8. I remember, I actually REMEMBER some magical days in which my anxiety would almost disappear, come to a minimum. Those heavenly days have stayed in my memory since. There were a tiny fraction of my life. I always wondered what could have triggered them, investigated the possible causes --some food, some ingredient, some spice, etc. There really is no end to all the supplements, herbs, teas, kratoms, cbds I've tried, all to no avail!

I want to stress this mode of life lasted years, years in which I started fearing the fear, and where my way of experiencing the world was through anxiety. Also, years in which I truly got to know this part of me as well as you'd know your own child.

First experience with benfo: I start taking a pill a day together with magnesium, and those numbers go down to 2, 3, 2, etc. Day after day for 2 weeks. Then the relapse happens.

I wait a bit, resume the supplementation and the anxiety level goes down again. It's now been months where I've managed to eliminate a large part of my anxiety except for recurring relapses of a few days where I need to stop the 'treatment' (which I now do preemptively). I have discovered a new way of living and of feeling the world. And what's most valuable to me, I have started building new memories which are replacing the old ones, memories where I'm at ease in the same settings where before I was anxious; where I can look at others, converse with them and smile instead of giving wrong vibes I'm having a bad time, etc. Some months ago I took a small break from a small social gathering and went out of the house where it was taking place. I stood by a fence looking at the fields, and was absolutely marvelled at the PEACE I felt. My friends, I know myself -- this PEACE was no placebo.

Before benfo I had the feeling my nerves were just overloaded, had reached a saturation level and could not rest. I simply could not REST, be calm, be easy. Sometimes I wonder I could live like that, but to be honest I have very good things to live for, and that kept me going.

The underlying problem is not gone -- if I stop taking benfo for enough days, the previous state slowly creeps back, with one difference, though, which is, now I have those memories of how it is to be normal and easy on my own and around others. I think those memories have altered me fundamentally.

I've been wanting to share this with you. I honestly have no clue what's wrong with me. I am happy however I never fell prey of benzodiazepines and such hellish drugs. I was an ideal candidate for them and I know they would've wrecked me in irreparable ways.
