Would you fix Marvel with a Rebirth/Doomsday Clock-like reveal?

What I mean is, what if Marvel revealed that some entity has been stealing time/aspects of characters/marriages to manipulate the Marvel universe to their ends? What if that's why the children of heroes seem to age much faster than their parents? What if it could explain away the regression of popular characters? What if it explained the sabotage of popular ships and marriages? What if we could restore all of the marriages? What if some blue dumbass (well, red dumbass in our case) has just been stuffing marriages and years of time in a closet, and that's why things are bad now? Do you think that could be used to improve the current run of comics?
