Visa application without cos

I applied for visa without cos since januay and i went for biometrics this week at tls after waiting for cos from my employer.

I can't move the biometrics date forward any longer so i had to go for it. I am so worried because I'm scared of rejection. I don't know if the supporting letter provided from my employer will suffice.

Note: Employer still waiting for allocation from home office since November

Switching from Graduate visa to SWV

Who has been in this situation before and how did you handle it??

Please I need your kind suggestions

1. Can they pend my application for a while

2. What if the application is rejected, is there any other alternative to avoid been an overstayer pending the time COS will be out??
