Faster way to edit movieclips

bro i swear i remember being able to edit movieclips much faster, like i want to change the color of a movieclip but for that i have to go into all the frames and change the color on the figure frame by frame, i swear i remember being able to do something to change the color of the figure in all frames at once, but idk how, am i imagining things?
