38 [M4F] #New Hampshire - professor living in the woods looking for a vibe

I am a biomedical scientist seeking new connections. I moved to a new area about 2 years ago, and it has been hard to meet new people, so here I am. I live a peaceful life at home in the middle of the woods with my two pups to balance out the stress from working in academia.

Some of my hobbies include astronomy and carpentry. I plan to buy a big-boy telescope eventually and get into astrophotography, given how dark the sky is where I live. I have built massive projects in my homestead, like a fence for the pups, a deck, and a shed to store my firewood. I am also into music, particularly rock, and Tool is one of my favorite bands of all time. I read and wish I had the time to do more of that, and I like sci-fi! Really looking forward to the Project Hail Mary movie. That should give you a gist of my personality.
