My (F26) friend (F26) caught me having sex with her younger brother (M23)

It had been going on for a while by the time she caught us. Luckily she’s come around on it now, meaning we can finally be open about our relationship. But it was super awkward there for a while to the point where she was refusing to acknowledge or interact with me.

Both of us felt really bad about keeping it from her. We just didn’t know how or when to tell her. I realise in hindsight that this was selfish of us and we should have come clean much sooner. I guess I was just terrified how she would react. I just couldn’t bare the thought of losing my best friend.

Honestly, it still feels a bit weird that she knows we’re seeing each other but everything has been patched up between us now and hopefully we can put all of this awkwardness behind us. We both genuinely like each other and I think she’s starting to see that in how we are together. Although I’m sure it still makes her a little uncomfortable. Honestly, her walking in and catching us was the worst moment of my life.
