Why does nobody respond.

Seriously why is it the hardest thing to get someone to respond. I’ve messaged probably about 20 people at this point about video games or game consoles asking to meet and not a single response same thing pretty much on OfferUp as well does anyone know a better way to contact these people? And no I’m not just sending “hi is it available” I’m sending like actual good messages and getting nothing.
