What are Your “Partner Approved” HA Uses?

I asked a question the other day about the best Home Assistant uses you’ve all come up with and got some AMAZING answers.

I sent it on to my wife and received an entirely unimpressed shrug in reply.

That got me to thinking, those of you without technically-minded partners, what have you don’t to win them over?

I don’t just mean things that you’ve done that your partner likes, I mean how did you win them over to getting involved with HA more actively?
