I’ve been having this eye swelling happen once a month for about a year now. It has happened when I’m out disc golfing, at the gym, just waking up, and even one time at a restaurant. Typically the swelling goes down on its own without taking anything in 24-48hrs. It is always my right eye. There was one occurrence where it stayed and stopped within an hour.

I have gotten seasonal allergy testing, which has all come back negative.

I was told it is not a duct issue.

The lid specialist looked at my eye and admitted he has no idea. He mentioned Blepharochalasas but didnt think that was it as it’s localized to the corner, one eye, and typically that happens to adolescents.

All he good give me is take Zyrtec every day but if it happens while taking Zyrtec stop. This feels like strange advice as I’ve already ruled out seasonal allergies.

He wants me to get a CT scan to ensure everything with my nasal cavities are fine - which he believes they are.

I’m so frustrated and discouraged. If anyone has any insight that might be helpful, I’d so appreciate it.

\*Also I should note that it is soft, and not itchy at all.

Any ideas? I’ve been to my pcp, dermatologist, allergist, eye doctor, and even a lid specialist and no one has any answers
