Just added to schedule WFM app

I was just added to a shift for today with the start time of 5 PM I got the notification about an hour ago saying that I had a new shift added, and I was unscheduled earlier today and 2 weeks ago when the schedule came up. It only gives me a chance to offer this shift or call off.

My question is if I do the call off thing am I gonna get in trouble or should I just ignore it because I was literally just added to a shift that’s gonna start and less than an hour. Is there a way to see when they added it so that I can have proof when asked my management why I didn’t come in.
