Confused about levothyroxine

So all the YouTube videos and everything that I have seen so far, people who say that they are feeling better have gone to functional doctors and take some T3 as well. But I am just 3 months in my diagnosis. My TSH started at 13 and now after 3 months- it is 7. My question is that do you feel good on Synthroid or do symptoms continue? I am scared to death and my online research isn’t helping because it’s affecting me physiologically.

Also if someone has recommendations for a good functional doctor for Hashimotos. I feel like so many people online are selling snake oil.

So confused, desperate and hurt.
