The most “Car Guy” game

I bought this game a while back and I love it. Prior to this I was endlessly replaying Midnight Club: LA.

But after playing for about a month, tinkering around with tuning and trying tons of different cars it leaves a bit to be desired in terms of graphics, interiors (POV) and car sounds. Plus there are just way too many multi year JDM and BMWs. Not enough variety in other areas.

But I get it! It’s a small independent dev and for what they have, they fuckin killed it. One of the best racing games I’ve played maybe ever.

BUT

What do you guys think about other games like Forza Horizon? The graphics and the sounds are way better. Real cars and more of them. But the customization totally lacks body kits like we all love. And surprisingly, I don’t find the driving to be all that fun or challenging!

I know it’s not Forza Motorsport, but I actually find CarX Street to have more engaging driving mechanics. Especially once I decided to learn the manual gear box.

What are your guys’ favorite games for being to able to drive and tinker around with all the cool cars you’ll never get to own?
