Am I going to get in trouble with the apartment complex?

During the filter change maintenance opened the door to my bathroom where I kept my cat that I did not register her to the apartment. He saw her, I told him I am just taking care of her today and he said it was okay. I tried to make small talk so that he would forget about it. The apartment complex is pretty large and he has to do all of the filter changes himself. Do you think he would tell the management that I have a cat? Does he have access to my lease agreement? Am I screwed?
