I (25M) feel like I’m carrying my entire relationship with my fiancée (24F) and I think I’m done, but I feel guilty leaving

I made a similar post yesterday that Ive removed because I wanted it to be a little clearer.

Right now, I feel like I’m carrying almost everything

  • I pay the majority of the bills (we agreed she would cover utilities, internet, and groceries, but even that isn’t consistent)
  • I end up doing about 95% of the cleaning and household responsibilities
  • I’m also cleaning up after multiple pets that she brought into the relationship

We’ve had multiple serious conversations about this. Every time:

  • she acknowledges it
  • things improve briefly
  • then it goes right back to how it was

On top of that, she keeps pushing to get a dog even though I’ve clearly said I don’t want one and that I’m already overwhelmed. Recently she told me she’s going to get one anyway.

Another issue is communication. When I bring up problems, the conversation tends to shift into how she feels (that I don’t love her, I ignore her, etc.) instead of addressing the actual issue. I end up feeling guilty and like I’m the problem, even though nothing actually gets resolved.

At this point I feel:

  • exhausted
  • resentful
  • honestly kind of numb

I’ve told her things like:

  • “I can’t keep doing this”
  • “This isn’t how I want to live my life”
  • “Something has to change”

But nothing has changed long-term.

The hardest part is I feel guilty leaving. She doesn’t make much money and would likely have to move back in with her mom. She also acts like everything is normal day-to-day, which makes me feel like I’m about to blindside her.

But at the same time, I feel like I’ve been mentally out of this for months already.

I guess my questions are:

  • Am I being unreasonable here?
  • Is this something that realistically gets better?
  • How do I deal with the guilt of leaving when I know it will impact her a lot?

Any advice would be appreciated.

TL;DR:

I feel like I’m doing almost everything in my relationship (bills, chores, pets), nothing changes long-term despite multiple conversations, and my fiancée is still pushing for more (like getting a dog). I’m exhausted and feel checked out, but I feel guilty leaving because it would put her in a tough situation.
