I built a fixed asset & depreciation tracking app to replace messy Excel schedules

I’m an accountant and after seeing how most businesses track fixed assets, I decided to build something better. Almost everywhere I’ve looked, it’s either outdated software or a large Excel file that’s hard to maintain, easy to break, and doesn’t clearly separate book vs tax depreciation.

So I built a web app that replaces that process with something more structured and easier to use. It lets you track assets in one place, automatically calculates depreciation for both book and tax, handles things like disposals and changes in estimates, and generates clean schedules and journal entries. You can also filter by year, asset type, or location and instantly see values like accumulated depreciation and net book value.

The goal wasn’t to overcomplicate things, just to take what accountants are already doing in spreadsheets and make it more reliable, more transparent, and less time-consuming.

It’s still early, but it’s live and I’m continuing to improve it based on feedback. If anyone here works in accounting or deals with asset tracking, I’d be curious what you think or what features you’d want to see.
