4th Month - First month single ABC

Advice Needed

Hi guys.

First post here and I'm hoping to get some advice on how I should train going forward. :)

This year, until now:

* I began swinging in January. 100 swings each day challenge, and I managed each day except 3 days due to sickness and life.. 12 Kgs first two weeks then bought a 16Kg for the remainder.

* February I did the Simple (and not so) Sinister Challenge. 100 Single Arm Swings with 16Kg. 12Kg Turkish Get-ups (brutal). I managed every day, except 4 days this time.

* March..... I didn't have a concrete plan this time, like the previous two months. This combined with work and life being extra hard I'm slightly embarrassed to say I only managed to get in 6 out of 31 days.. But I'm trying to be positive! So it's nearly 20% of March, which is definitely 100% more than I did last year. And I'm ready to handle April now with a plan.

So, my plan for April is to do the Armour Building Complex, but with a single bell (to begin with). I found a video on YouTube, and I just wanted to check in if the following routine is the right approach:

ABC, single bell

- 1 x Clean + Press (L)

- (single arm swing to change sides)

- 1 x Clean + Press (R)

- 2 x Offset Front Squat (R)

- 10 second pause.

1 x Clean + Press (R)

- (single arm swing to change sides)

- 1 x Clean + Press (L)

- 2x Offset Front Squat (L)

- 30 second pause.

- Repeat 10x

And my second question is if I should aim to do this every day, or every other day? I seem to do best when I have a daily routine going. Missing one day makes it easier to miss the next, so to say.

If every other day, what should I do with my "off days"?

As for weights, my plan is to do the 12kg for the two first weeks. Then see if I can graduate to the 16Kg in week 3. And if I can manage by week 4 then I want to see if I can do both 12Kg and 16Kg at the same time, then just alternate sides.

Thanks in advance for any replies and help.

I'm happy to be a part of the community!
