Noise while charging

I've had to use a 5V 2.4A charger as I forgot to bring the S&B supercharger on a trip and when I plugged it in the Venty started making a high pitched almost clicking/whiney sound, it's dulled down a bit now but should I continue using this charger or stop and wait until I can properly charge it?
