For the book reader. i got a couple question i want to ask.

1. How long has Rocky ship arrive at Tau ceti?
2. How long has Rocky been alone?
3. What has Rocky been doing while he is alone? Does he has a plan to save his planet?
4. What role does Rocky serve in his ship?
5. Was it ever brought up if rocky would just return to his planet if he felt he cant figure out the solution and that all of his crewmate dies?

here some of the thing i been wondering as i been thinking about the movie. definately a solid movie but i felt alot of the detail has been gloss over due to it being a movie.
