UNAS Pro 4/8 For ProxMox VM Storage (Replacing TrueNAS)

I'm looking to replace a 24x2.5" SAS3 SSD server I built out with something a bit more "basic" for my needs. With the recent changes to TrueNAS I'm wanting to do this sooner than later.

My needs are simple:

• Single Disk Failure (RAID5 is fine)
• 10GBps Support
• 2.5" SSD support
• NFS (or similar) shares (iSCSI, etc.)

I feel like both the UNAS Pro 4 and 8 both meet these basic requirements. Has anyone set their UNAS up as VM storage? How was the performance? Any issues?
