I know this is a “hot topic” but I’m worried. 29F, had my bisalp a year and a half ago. But now my period is late and I’m concerned.
I’ve had pretty regular periods since my bisalp in October 2024, we’re talking 28-31 days. The last 3 cycles I’ve had have all been 28 days. But my period is 4 days late and now I’m kinda worried about why that’s happening. I’ve taken two pregnancy tests and both were negative, and I had 5-6 cm of each tube removed so logically I know that I can’t be pregnant. And it’s so statistically improbable to be the one in a million twice (I.E. pregnancy with no fallopian tubes and 2 false negatives days after a projected start date), but I’m still stressing?? I’ve never missed a period (in my adult life, they were kinda wonky when I was 13 and they were just starting up), stress has been quite low this month, no change in sleep routine, I’m not perimenopausal, no signs of PCOS or any hormonal issues, so like, wtf. I’m moving on from being anxious about pregnancy to being frustrated that I can feel it wanting to start and it just won’t. And my brain is now moving to “well if you’re not pregnant then what’s wrong with your body??” Any and all advice is appreciated!! I know some users get annoyed by these kinds of posts, but the internet is no help and no one else I know has been sterilized.
