OM5 ii Alternative Recommendations

Curious if anyone has found an alternative recommendation to this camera. So many people talk about how its outdated and too expensive, but what other cameras have USB C (dealbreaker for me...), an EVF, IBIS, weatherproofing, and a small form factor for $1200 USD? a6700, XT5/XS20, and others all fall a few hundred above this price point and are usually still over $1200 used. Bundled with the 12-45, the OM5 ii is $1500 on sale, where as an equivalent a6700/Sigma 16-50 setup it would be $2000. I wont be shooting much, if any, video and Im sure its still a step up from my smartphone. For a (hopefully) pocketable setup, I can later buy a used 14-42 pancake and the auto lens cap. This truly feels like the best value edc setup for someone looking for their first serious camera after years of trying to get the most out of a smartphone. I understand that you can often buy used for better value, but none of these options seem to have usb c and in 2026 thats a dealbreaker for me... thoughts? Also, curious if the silver finish holds up over time if yall have any experience with that
