Ever get inspired by your own fic?

The other day, I suddenly thought, ‘remember how [character A] persevered through hardship in chapter 4? You can do that too.’ Like, it is my own fic I was thinking of. That I wrote! Today I was thinking, ‘you shouldn’t do that, [character B] wouldn’t and she wouldn’t want you to, either.’

Crazy. But reader, it worked?? I am in no ways trying to write didactic fiction, but maybe I am trying to model some behavior subconsciously? Wild stuff…
